What does it sound like when two white guys raised on rap speak truth to power?
It sounds like AR-15: Jus Rhyme, M.A. aka "Best White Rapper Alive!" and Raw Potential. This political rap duo parties their way to social justice, with a raucous mix of club anthems and street chants. National lecturer and anti-racist activist, Tim Wise, calls AR-15 "…no bull, radical hip-hop: the kind that has the potential to redefine what it means to be white in the rap game."

The name AR-15 stands for fifteen anti-racist principles that guide the rap group to "flip the system"- or use time and money to support racial justice organizing led by poor people and people of color. AR-15 is walking the talk in the hip-hop underground, earning tens of thousands of dollars in gigs through independent promotion since 2004 and donating 25% of their income to racial justice organizing.

AR-15 has performed for thousands of people around the U.S. and was featured in the VH1 television show ego trip's "The (White) Rapper Show, the film Mirrors of Privilege: Making Whiteness Visible and the book Other People's Property: A Shadow History of Hip-Hop in White America, and countless media across the country including Associated Press, Complex Magazine, Fox News and hip-hop radio Hot 97 New York, Hot 91.3 Hartford, Power 104.3 Honolulu, and Play 103.9 Bakersfield.

AR-15 has worked with super-producer Just Blaze - who has produced tracks for the Beastie Boys, Jay-Z, Usher, Kanye West, and Busta Rhymes. AR-15 has also worked with national recording artists KRS-One, dead prez, The Coup, Bushwick Bill of the Geto Boys, Atmosphere and has been sought after by Def Jam Entertainment. They have shared the stage with Tommy the Clown and the Hip-Hop Clowns from the movie RIZE, and have been featured presenters at the White Privilege Conference 5, 7, and 8, the Conference on Understanding Whiteness, and the National Resource Center for the Healing of Racism.

AR-15 holds degrees and certifications from the University of Southern California, the University of Minnesota, San Francisco State University, AmeriCorps, the Challenging White Supremacy Workshops and the People's Institute and has offered direct support to racial justice organizations including The Center for Third World Organizing, Communities United Against Police Brutality, the Welfare Rights Coalition, and the Immigrant Freedom Network.
